Candy sale for Neighbors of Hope – Women’s & Ecumenical Helping Fund. 

Tecumseh Service Club (TSC) Adopt a Family Program. Furnish Christmas Items (clothes and gifts)for a local family through the (TSC). 

Put “ Women Shelter” or “TSC Adoption”, depending on where you want your offering to go, on your envelope or offering check. 

Mission giving for November 2021:

Mission for the month of November 2021 is: Adrian College Pre-Seminary. The “Theological Association of Adrian College” began in 1869 as a forum for those exploring a call to ministry. The College even developed its own school of theology during the late 19th century but eventually placed this emphasis within its wider undergraduate offerings. After World War I the theological association adopted the name “Major Cole Association,” in honor of a popular Christian speaker who served as a mentor for Adrian College students. It is built around academic study of philosophy/religion and a vocational discernment group.

Mission giving for October 2021:

Mission for the month of October 2021 is: Homelessness in the U.S. #982385 (Target Amount: $50,000) Providing start-up assistance for new and innovative church based ministries to homeless people. 

Mission giving for September 2021:

Mission for the month of September 2021 is heifer Project- live Animals. There is a great need for Heifer International’s work with communities to end hunger and poverty and care for the earth by partnering with poor smallholder farmers. Worldwide over 700 million people are living in extreme poverty on less than $1.90 a day (1), and hunger kills more people each year than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined (2). The UN estimates that 805 million people, about 1 in 9 of the world’s population, are chronically undernourished.

Mission giving for August 2021:

The Advance is an accountable, designated giving arm of The United Methodist Church that ensures 100% of each gift is used for its intended mission or ministry. Our work fulfills both physical and spiritual needs through a variety of partnerships worldwide to reach mutual goals that make a life-changing and long-lasting impact.

Our Advance Giving for August is to support the educational ministry of Helen-Robert-Evans in Liberia.  She is in charge of all of the Methodist Schools in Liberia including ours, the Deputy United Methodist Church

July 28- Donate Vegie Tray or money to provide a meal to “Men’s Ministry-Neighbors of Hope.
